<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist appropriate editing of other documents associated with the editing of one of a plurality of documents. <P>SOLUTION: A difference information extracting unit 3 extracts different information between the document of a version before change and the document of a version after the change, when the change is inputted to the document to be changed. A link information extracting unit 4 extracts link information concerning the document to be changed, to which the change is inputted, or the link information, concerning the change unit in the document to be changed. A difference information analyzing unit 6 extracts change patterns concerning the difference information extracted by the difference information extracting unit 3. A use link extracting unit 7 acquires information where the list of the extracted change patterns is associated with the link information, and extracts the link information to be associated with the extracted change patterns, as the link information to be used, from among the link information extracted by the link information extracting unit 4.
