<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which achieves simplification of attaching work of a spring that energizes a driven rotating member. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a torsion coil spring 240 energizing a pinch roller 214 to bring the pinch roller 214 into press-contact with an ejection roller 210 rotatably supported in a housing 202; a housing recessed part 230 provided in the housing 202; a peeling guide 220 attached to the housing 202; and a stopper 224 functioning as a cover part configured to cover the housing recessed part 230 in which coil parts 246 and 247 and a spring receiving part 248 are housed.
