PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grill easily separating a grilled fish. SOLUTION: The surface of the grill member is covered with a water repellent diamond-like carbon coating. Especially the water repellent diamond-like carbon coating, which maintains a contact angle of 90° or more to the water after being heated to 500°C, is selected. Si and CH<SB>3</SB>are added to attain water repellency. Alternatively the CVD method using high density plasma is adopted to attain water repellency. The grill maintains such a characteristic to easily separate a grilled fish over a long period of time. A subscript 1 shows the water repellent capability when using the water repellent diamond-like carbon coating, a subscript 2 shows the water repellent capability when using fluorocarbon resin coating, and alphabets show the progress steps of a heat test.
