<p>A wireless communication apparatus wherein when power radiation is detected by a power radiation detecting unit, an avoidance communication mode is entered; a transport packet is created in such a manner that the transmission time T1 = T0/2/M and the transmission period T2 = T0/2, where T0 is the period of a commercial AC power supply; a transmission output varying unit and a transmission rate varying unit set the transmission output and the transmission rate to the respective values that are T2/T1 times the transmission output and transmission rate of a normal communication mode; and the transport packet is transmitted in synchronization with a timing of stoppage of the power radiation detected by a timing detecting unit.</p>
