<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine including an outer tub with an upper opening within a casing, a rotatable inner tub with an upper opening within the outer tub, a rotatable pulsator on the inner bottom of the inner tub and a water supply unit including a pump for pumping bath water at the upper part of the casing, having such a passage structure that contact between bath water and ozone is sufficient and that bath water inside a water supply channel can be sufficiently sterilized even if the length of the water supply channel is insufficient in a narrow area at the upper part of the casing, and allowing bath water to be fed into a washing water tub as sterilized bath water. <P>SOLUTION: In the washing machine, bath water pumped up by the operation of the pump is fed into the washing water tub through a bath water supply channel.
