<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is superior in visually perceiving and removing a jammed paper when a paper jam occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a transfer belt that transfers a transfer material and a photoreceptor that sandwiches the transfer material between the transfer belt and the photoreceptor and transfers a toner image on the transfer material.
