<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal device capable of controlling display information of a display unit with a simple operation without limiting any available place, and suppressing the manufacturing cost and the scale of the device. <P>SOLUTION: An image pickup unit 11 acquires images at the predetermined time interval through a translucent sheet-like material. A detection unit 12 detects the pointer movement permissible range from the image of the sheet-like material acquired in advance by the image pickup unit 11, and calculates the coefficient of conversion for correcting its shape. An estimation unit 13 detects a shadow area of a pointer in the image after executing the correction by the coefficient of conversion on the image acquired by the image pickup unit 11, and estimates instruction information of the pointer from the shadow area.
