<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of reducing the start-up time of the information processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device includes a nonvolatile memory, a volatile memory and a processing controller. In the nonvolatile memory, an initiation program necessary to initiate the information processing device is recorded in advance. When a device initiation instruction is received, it is decided whether the initiation program exists in the volatile memory. If the initiation program does not exist, the initiation program is loaded from the nonvolatile memory to the volatile memory. Thereafter, when a power disconnection instruction for the information processing device is received, the power of the information processing device is disconnected by suspending power supply to other components of the information processing device, while power supply to the volatile memory is continued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
