PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an optically-active substance of 4-(4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl)benzoic acid by a diastereomer-salt method, and also to provide a diastereomer salt. SOLUTION: The diastereomer salt having as constituents, an optically-active substance of 4-(4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl)benzoic acid compound (1) and an optically-active basic compound is produced from a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein respective symbols are specifically defined in specification). The optically-active substance is simply, easily produced by decomposing the diastereomer salt.
