<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dispersion among temperature detectors by performing adjustment that makes the gradients of temperature characteristics of temperature sensing elements substantially coincide with one another. <P>SOLUTION: This temperature detector 10 including a temperature-sensitive diode D (temperature-sensitive element) outputting a voltage corresponding to temperature includes a resistor 2 (adjusting apparatus) for adjusting an electric current If fed through the diode D according to a change in temperature so that the gradients of temperature characteristics varying with the diodes D accord with a prescribed gradient.
