<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight rotary electrical machine, a rotary electrical machine for driving a hybrid vehicle, and the stator for a rotary electrical machine. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a rotor 13 rotatably attached to the motor housing 11, and a stator 14 provided to face the rotor 13 in the radial direction. The stator 14 is formed by an annular stator ring 15 attached to the motor housing 11, and a plurality of core bodies 16, annularly attached to the inner circumferential surface of the stator ring 15 with a coil 164 being wound around each core body. When an AC current is supplied to the coil 164 of the motor 1, a rotating field is generated in the stator 14, and the rotor 13 is rotated by an attraction or a repulsion resulting from the rotating field. The stator ring 15 is formed of a ferromagnetic material having a high volume resistivity, and functions as the magnetic path of a magnetic flux generated by the coil 164. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
