摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for measuring an electrostatic latent image, capable of measuring charge distribution or potential distribution occurring on the surface of a photoreceptor at high resolution of micron order, and to provide an image forming device using a measured photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A photoreceptor sample 20 is irradiated with an electron beam so as to be charged; an electrostatic latent image is formed by an exposure section 6; an emission electron from the photoreceptor sample 20 is detected by scanning by the electron beam; and the electrostatic latent image distribution of the photoreceptor sample surface is measured, based on the detection signal. The exposure section 6 includes an LD light source 61, a light deflector 65, a synchronous signal-generating means for generating a synchronization signal at an end of a scanning range of the laser beam, and a write-in timing signal generating means for generating an emission timing control signal, when the laser beam scans the photoreceptor sample surface based on the synchronization signal.
