摘要 Provided is a fuel cell gas diffusion layer having an excellent load variation adaptability by obtaining both anti-dry-out and anti-flooding characteristics. The fuel cell gas diffusion layer including a base material layer and a conductive fine particle layer is formed in such a way that a coating liquid for forming the conductive fine particle layer is coated on at least one surface of a base material for forming the base material layer by using a gravure roll and is coated by a kiss method on a transfer portion for coating the coating liquid on the base material. When the coating liquid is coated, a speed difference is given between the line speed at which the base material is transferred and the circumferential speed of the gravure roll and an apparent viscosity [? (Pa·s)] of the coating liquid measured by a B-type viscometer is set so as to satisfy the relationships below: 1.0 < ? < 200.0 (3rpm) 0.2 < < 10.0 (30rpm)
