<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a seamless belt which is consisting essentially of a thermoplastic resin and has high grade at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the seamless belt includes a process of arranging a first cylinder and a second cylinder so that mutually facing ends of the first cylinder and the second cylinder have a gap and extruding a molten body from an annular die into the gap, a process of holding the molten body extruded into the gap between the mutually facing ends of the first cylinder and the second cylinder and intercepting communication of gas in the cylinders between the first cylinder and a second cylinder, a process of carrying out relative movement of the first cylinder, the second cylinder and the annular die in an axial direction in a state where the molten body is held therebetween and applying the molten body to an inner wall of the first cylinder or of the second cylinder to form a cylindrical layer of the molten body, a process of charging a space at least constituted of the cylindrical layer and the inner wall of the first cylinder or of the second cylinder with the gas to closely adhere the cylindrical layer to the inner wall of the first cylinder 4 or of the second cylinder 7 by gas pressure, and a process of solidifying the cylindrical layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
