<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gray level-fixed two-dimensional optical recognition code and a print product of the code. <P>SOLUTION: The print product is equipped with the two-dimensional optical recognition code having a positioning block and a plurality of data coding blocks. In the positioning block, which has a plurality of designated patterns arranged in an N×M array, a designated pattern adjacent to the first edge and a designated pattern adjacent to the second edge are embedded. A plurality of data coding blocks are assigned around the positioning block, and include the designated patterns arranged in the N×M array. In the data coding blocks, the designated pattern positioned in the center is embedded.
