<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for monitoring power consumption which can accurately predict the power consumption of a building wherein many server devices are installed. <P>SOLUTION: The device for monitoring the power consumption includes a server rated capacity power consumption calculating part 34, which calculates the past monthly power consumption per a server rated capacity of the server device from a past monthly track record value of the power consumption and a past monthly track record value of the server rated capacity, and a power consumption predicted value calculating part 36 which calculates a monthly future power consumption predicted value of a data center 10 wherein a varying number of server devices are installed, by multiplying the monthly power consumption per the unit rated capacity by a planned value of the server rated capacity in each corresponding month. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
