<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive system for encryption network storage that improves security in data encryption/decryption thereof and requires no dedicated application program on a client side. <P>SOLUTION: The system for encryption network storage converts a secret encryption key input from a client terminal to a one-way encryption key including a secure hash, and transmits it to a server, to encrypt/decrypt a file using the one-way encryption key. The one-way encryption in the client terminal is executed in a web browser of the client terminal using a script embedded in an HTML file downloaded from the server.
