PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED drive device and method, an LED drive system using the same, and a liquid crystal display device.

SOLUTION: The invention relates to a drive technology of emitting diodes (LEDs). It receives brightness information of the LEDs that may externally be driven to thereby drive a plurality of the LEDs at a time lag that is determined by the brightness information. This reduces a variation or a ripple of a voltage and a current at an output end of a power source for supplying power to the LEDs, thus securing the suitable operation of the LED drive device.
