PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a route for joining a counterpart moving ahead following a search result by route search. SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 receives route information showing a route search result of a joining counterpart by a communication part 40 under control of a control part 10, and acquires a first scheduled time when the joining counterpart arrives at a specific spot on the route shown by the route information based on the received route information. The terminal device 1 searches for a route to the specific spot, and calculates a second scheduled time when arriving at the specific spot. The terminal device 1 compares the first scheduled time with the second scheduled time, determines propriety of joining to the joining counterpart, and outputs a route search result calculated when the determination result shows that joining is possible, as a route joinable to the joining counterpart.
