PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and efficiently clean the brake device of an elevator. SOLUTION: This brake disk cleaning device 40 of an elevator includes a mounting member 15 attachable to/detachable from a hoist 1, cleaning part connection bolts 16a, 16b which are attached to the mounting member 15 and positioned parallel to a rotating shaft 7 on the outside of a brake disk 9, oil absorbing members 23a, 23b for removing the oil adhering to the surface of the disk when abutting on the surface of the disk, and first and second plates 20a, 20b to which the oil absorbing members 23a, 23b are attached. The first and second plates 20a, 20b are fixed to the cleaning part connection bolts 16a, 16b, and the oil absorbing members 23a, 23b sandwich the brake disk 9 while pressing.
