1287436 Shear/compression resilient mountings GES FUR TECHNISCHEN FORTSCHRITT mbH 5 Sept 1969 [6 Dec 19681 43983/69 Heading F2S A wedge-type compression/shear resilient mounting comprises an inner rigid downwardly tapering wedge member 1, an outer rigid member with downwardly converging sides 2 and two elastomeric members 3 located between and fixed to the inner and outer members, each elastomeric member having two sides meeting in a corner and a recess 5 extending into the two sides and around the corner, the elastomeric member being curved convexly around the corner at the recess (see Fig. 4, which is a section along CC of Fig. 1) and being curved concavely along the corner at the recess. The deepest part of the concave surface is nearer the member 1 than the member 2. Each block is V-shaped in plan, and is bonded to the rigid members. |
