<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a dye receiving layer which can maintain a sufficient photographic print traveling performance while developing a high photographic printing density, and also which can form the dye receiving layer of a sheet to which an image is thermally transferred with excellent light and crack resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This resin composition for a dye receiving layer for a sheet to which an image is thermally transferred is characteristic in that: it contains a polymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer raw material including an aromatic monomer, and a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (B).
