<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel material joining method and joint structure, which position a nut holding member and a joint plate more rationally and speedily than ever by mounting the nut holding member and the joint plate on the steel materials to be attached to a liner plate turnably. <P>SOLUTION: In the steel material joining method and joint structure, the nut holding member 5 has such length that extends across ends of the steel materials 1, 1 facing each other, holds a nut 4 arranged to align with a bolt hole 11 formed at the end, and is turnably mounted on the rear surface 1a of a side face on the natural ground side of the end of the steel material 1 of either of the steel materials facing each other. The joint plate 2 has such length that extends across the ends of the steel materials 1, 1 facing each other, has a bolt hole 12 agreeing with the bolt hole 11, and is turnably mounted on a side face 1b on the natural ground side of the end of the steel material 1 of the steel materials facing each other. In this joining method, the ends of each steel material 1, 1 are made to face each other, then the nut holding member 5 and the joint plate 2 are turned to align the bolt holes 11, 12 with a position of the nut 4, and the bolt 3 is inserted and screwed-into the nut 4 for bolt joint. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
