PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle structural body that can reduce a space of a tank and maintain a good weight balance of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A railway vehicle structural body 1 includes a watertight hollow portion S that is formed inside a bone member 12 in left and right side structural bodies 3, 3 respectively, and serves as a tank 21 for storing a liquid. In general, the area inside the bone member 12 of the side structural bodies 3, 3 is a dead-space, therefore a space of the tank 21 can be reduced by storing the liquid therein. The structural body gives no effect on a structure of an underfloor device of the vehicle as before, and a heavy object is not placed on a roof of the vehicle, therefore, a reinforcement structure for the vehicle is not required to be installed additionally. A plurality of tanks 21 are provided in the left and right side structural bodies 3, 3 corresponding to an arrangement of the bone members 12, therefore, the structural body can also maintain the good weight balance of the vehicle by adjusting the liquid amount of each tank 21.
