The bearing (30) has a carrier, and non-conductive ceramic rolling balls (36) movably arranged at an interior of the carrier. A metal rolling ball (35) is movably arranged at the interior of the carrier and is adjacent to the ceramic rolling balls. The carrier comprises an inner ring (31), an outer ring (32) and an intermediate ring (33) that is provided between the inner and outer rings. The intermediate ring is provided with locating slots (34). The ceramic and metal balls are accommodated in the locating slots and stay in contact with the inner and outer rings. An independent claim is also included for a spindle mechanism comprising a main body.
