<p>Tools for diagnosis and management of patients suspected of having or having been previously diagnosed with systemic sclerosis are based on the determination one or more of the markers: CXCL5, CCL5, CCLI l, MPO, BDNF, CCL2, EGF, IL-17, IL-13, IgE, GST, fibrinogen, and VEGF in sample from the subject. Specific marker ratios and subsets of markers and ratios identify a patient and further subclassify the patient. The information may be used prospectively to study the response of subclassified patients to existing or novel therapeutic strategies.</p> |
