In a stackable multi-cell storage battery the terminals 9 protrude laterally over the wall of the one-piece box 1 in enlarged portions of the groove 11 formed on the underside of the onepiece cover 2. The grooves 10, 10<SP>1</SP> in the cover receive intercell connectors 7 which pass over the top of the partition walls 8. The box and cover are adhesively bonded with epoxy resin in the grooves. |
