PURPOSE: A location based service providing method by using WPAN, capable of reducing the danger of a wheel chair user is provided to monitor a location of a wheelchair in real time. CONSTITUTION: A service providing server receives the location of a wheelchair from a wheelchair controller(S100). The service providing server transmits map information of the wheelchair location to the wheelchair controller(S200). The service providing server receives a destination of a wheelchair user from the wheelchair controller(S300). The service providing server extracts the shortest route to the destination(S400). The service providing server transmits the shortest path to the wheelchair controller(S500).
