PURPOSE: A system and method for measuring carbon emission are provided to efficiently measure a carbon emission amount by enabling a user to directly input unused card breakdown and using a franchise network of a card company for used card breakdown. CONSTITUTION: A data receiver(210) receives first payment-related information except payment information from a business place terminal. Through the linkage with a server of an external organization, an index calculator of carbon emission(220) calculates the index of carbon emission corresponding to the received first payment-related information. A carbon emission calculator(230) calculates the carbon emission amount by using the index of the calculated carbon emission. The first payment-related information includes the information generated when the credit card is used for payment. |
