<p>The calender (1) has two set of nips (4, 5) comprising contact areas (4.1, 5.1), which are identical to a central roller (11). A web running path (3) is provided for a running paper or cardboard web (2). A third contact area (5.2) is formed by a roller (12). The web lies over a deflection angle of 70 degrees at the roller that is temperable. Operative levels (8, 9) of the nips are defined by a contact zone center in a web running direction (10) and a center axis of the central roller and stay in an angle from 75 to 105 degrees to each other.</p> |
