WET ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR WITH PULSE JET CLEANING OF THE DISCHARGE WIRES

PURPOSE: A wet electrostatic dust collector with pulse jet for cleaning discharge wires is provided to prevent dust to be attached to the surface of a dry collecting electrode, by cleaning liquid. CONSTITUTION: Electric discharge electrode wires(30) are installed within a chamber(21). A collecting electrode(40) is installed inside a case(20). The collector electrode is interposed between the chamber and a jet path(26). The chamber and the jet path are connected through a plurality of small holes(42) for ventilation. The location of a plurality of small hole for ventilation corresponds to the electric discharge electrode wires. A cleaning liquid blooming member(50) has a rigid surface and is installed at the inner wall of the case.
