PURPOSE: A curtain airbag device is provided to easily inflate an airbag cushion through the opening of a receiving member because the opening is enlarged by the expansive force of the airbag cushion. CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag device comprises a roof panel(10), an airbag cushion(30), and a receiving member(20). The airbag cushion is inflated into a car room when gas flows into the airbag cushion. The receiving member is installed in the roof panel and accepts the folded airbag cushion. The receiving member has an opening and an elastic support unit(25). The opening is formed by opening one surface of the receiving member. The airbag cushion is inflated through the opening. The elastic support unit is gradually inclined toward the opening and elastically supports the accepted airbag cushion. |
