<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap device of a beverage container such as a portable thermos bottle which is can easily assemble a locking means to a locking means and favorably perform the locking and the unlocking. <P>SOLUTION: In a beverage container having the locking means (12) for locking a cap member (4) at a closing position on front side parts of the cap member (4) and a shoulder member (3), a locking means (14) for locking the locking means (12) in a locked state is provided on a front side part of the cap member (4) in a vertically slidable manner to facilitate the assembling work. The locking means (14) locks the locking means (12) when it is moved downward.
