The meter has a remote reading module arranged on a totalizer (2) in an upper zone. The totalizer is provided with a plastic cover (3). A cylindrical sealing ring (5) is placed around the upper zone and integrated to the cover by a clipping tab (6) for sealing the module. The clipping tab is provided with a divisible part, and is introduced into a belt loop type part (7) arranged in the cover of the totalizer by the rotation of the sealing ring.
