The method involves forming a functional area (32) as a switching portion. The switching of the parameter intervals is carried with a position of an analog control unit within the switching portion, on which an adjustment portion (31) is illustrated. An independent claim is also included for a sensor for proof of a physical measured variable, particularly for proof of objects.
