<p>Basic ethers of khellin-quinol are of formula: Specific cpds. are the 2-hydroxy-3-isopropylamino-propyl ether and its hydrochloride, and the N-benzyl deriv. and its hydrochloride, citrate, maleate and tartrate. They are prepd. by reacting the 2, 3-epoxy-prop-1-yl ether of khellin-quinol with benzyl-isopropylamine to give I(R = benzyl), which in turn is hydrogenated to give I(R = H).</p> |
