<p>The emulsion is a mixture of e.g. trichloroethylene and an aqs. soln. of an alkyltrimethylammonium chloride and a tertiary amine where the groups attached to N are a fatty alkyl and two hydroxyethyl or polyoxyethylene groups. If a colour is discharged into this emulsion by the dyestuff, the dyed cloth will ru n. This procedure is a very rapid convenient test.</p> |
