<p>N-Acyl-glycines are prepd. by carbonylation at -10 to +30 degrees C of N-hydroxymethyl- or N-alkoxymethyl-carboxylic acid amides dissolved in is not 90% sulphuric acid. The sulphuric acid is pref. 95-100%, and the carbonylation itself is pref. carried out with CO at elevated pressure (pref. 50-250 atm.) for 1-30 (pref. 3-17) hrs. with stirring at the stated temp. The products can be used as anticorrosives and lubricants, as additives for cosmetic washing and cleansing agents, and in peptide syntheses.</p> |
