Production of solar collectors comprises providing a first band (1) made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, coating the band on the upper side with a high temperature resistant coating which selectively absorbs electromagnetic radiation in the near infrared region, providing a second band (6) made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, deep drawing media-guiding channels in the second band using a deep drawing process, taking off the second band in lower sheets (9), providing a solder layer between the first band and lower sheets, pressing together, soldering in a continuous furnace and dividing into solar collectors.
