An infusion set for administering a liquid, preferably a medical liquid such as liquid insulin, comprising an infusion head (1) to be placed on the tissue of a patient; a coupler (2) for connecting the infusion head to an administering device; a cannula (4) which is or can be connected to the infusion head; and optionally, an apparatus for placing the infusion head on the tissue, wherein the infusion set comprises a display device (6) for displaying an expiry date and/or an application period of the infusion set or a part of the infusion set or the liquid administered using the infusion set.
