PURPOSE: A sliding type air damping unit for buildings is provided to prevent the corrosion of the air damping unit by blocking the unnecessary circulation of air. CONSTITUTION: A sliding type air damping unit for buildings includes a housing(10), a sliding damper pipe(20), an operational unit(50), and a guiding unit. The housing is combined with the end part of the damping unit and includes a frame(11) and a receiving pipe(A). The frame is in contact with the external wall of a building. The damper pipe is inserted to the housing. A cover plate(22) is formed at one end of the damper pipe. A plurality of through holes(23) is formed at one external side of the damper pipe. The operational unit is combined with one side of the housing and slides the damper pipe into the external side and the internal side of the external wall of the building.
