PURPOSE: A fluorescence sensor containing rhodamine derivative with gold ion selectivity and a method for detecting gold ion using the same are provided to quickly detect gold ion. CONSTITUTION: A rhodamine derivative compound with gold ion selectivity is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of a compound of chemical formula 3 with POCl_3, and a step of adding a compound of chemical formula 4. A sensor for detecting the gold ion contains the compound of chemical formula 1. A composition for detecting the gold ion contains the compound of chemical formula 1.
