<p>Hydraulic regulator which can function in a continuous medium and maintain this at a pre-determined pressure, partic. suitable for operation on an underwater well head, comprising an enclosure filled with a fluid and provided with a discharge, in which a deformable element, e.g. a manometric capsule, connected to the measuring instrument is also connected to a vane, which is connected to a calibrated spring and has one end situated in front of a nozzle through which fluid is delivered by a pump, so that for a given setting of the measuring instruement, the combined effect of the deformable capsule and the calibrated spring tends to bring the vane back to its initial position and to provide a pre-determined pressure at the outlet of the regulator. A stabilising system including a damper is incorporated in the hydraulic circuit.</p> |
