PURPOSE: A tool box is provided to prevent tools in the box from being mixed and to prevent damage to tools or user even if the case is inclined when the tool box raised by the user. CONSTITUTION: A tool box comprises a case(60), a handle(70), a cover(80), and first and second fixing members. The case has a plurality of partitions(63) and an opening(62). The handle is extended upward from the inner bottom of the case. The cover is hinged on one side of the case in order to open and close the opening and has a central through hole(81) which the handle passes through. The first fixing member is installed on the exterior of one side of the case. The second fixing member is coupled with the first fixing member when the cover is opened. When the cover closes the opening, the inner surface of the cover presses the partitions. When the cover is opened, the second fixing member is fixed to the first fixing member so as to keep the cover open.
