<p>The device has two LED lights (4) activated consecutively for illuminating an object i.e. bent pipe (1), where the LED lights reside in different relative positions to the object during activation. A digital camera (5) detects shadow images produced by illumination of the object, and a processor unit determines shape of the object from the detected shadow images. The LED lights and the camera are arranged in opposite sides of the object, and an optical semi-transparent projection surface (3) is arranged between the object and the camera. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining shape of an object.</p> |
