<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to compensate temperature difference by detecting temperature of a certain position and transmitting the position information and the temperature information of the position. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a main body(1) and a remote controller(5). The main body includes a first infrared light emitting diode and a first infrared light receiving unit. The remote controlling includes a second infrared light emitting diode and a second infrared light receiving unit. An infrared signal received from the first infrared light emitting diode is varied into multiple stages. The second infrared light receiving unit receives the varied infrared signal. Based on the infrared signal, a distance between the main body of the air conditioner and the remote controller is detected.</p> |
