PURPOSE: A portable storing apparatus, which is embedded with software for converting a language of OS into a standard language, and a computer environment converting method using the same are provided to conveniently use the computer regardless of the language of OS. CONSTITUTION: An environment analyzer(143) comprises standards language information. If a portable storage device is connected to a host computer, the environment analyzer is loaded on the memory of the host computer. If the usage language does not match with the standard language, a language converter(144) extracts a language module and converts the usage language into the standard language.
