PURPOSE: A temperature sensing apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to maintain thermistor temperature characteristic for a long time by reduction in device characteristic change. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensing apparatus comprises a standard resistor(1), and a thermistor(2), and a micro computer(3). The thermistor is serially connected between one side of the standard resistor and the ground end. The micro computer applies power voltage and ground voltage to the output end. As resistance value applied on a sensing node is changed into a voltage value, the temperature is sensed. The micro computer senses the temperature at regular intervals.
