PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in resistance in a lead-out part of a dehydrator utilizing gravity and to realize stable operation of the dehydrator. SOLUTION: A gas-hydrate production apparatus generates a gas hydrate n by reacting a raw material gas g and water w, and performs dewatering of the gas hydrate n by a dehydrator 12 to produce the gas hydrate having a low content of water. The dehydrator 12 comprises a vertically cylindrical body 21 comprising an introduction part 18 which introduces a gas hydrate slurry s, a dehydrating part 20 which removes water w from the gas hydrate n, and a lead-out part 19 which leads out the gas hydrate n dehydrated in the dehydrating part.
