PURPOSE: A metal pattern forming composition and a metal pattern forming method using the same are provided to manufacture various metal patterns at a low temperature in an eco-friendly manner. CONSTITUTION: A metal pattern forming composition includes a conductive metal or conductive metal compound and carboxylic-amine base ion pair salt. The conductive metal is a transition metal or main group metal. The diameter of the conductive metal or the conductive metal compound is between 1 and 5000nm. The content of metal ions induced from the conductive metal or the conductive metal compound is 1 to 99 weight% or 5 to 70 weight% based on the entire weight of the composition.
